Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ was founded durring the late 11th century, by Zëmê Shèdsh. The establishment of Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Zëmê Shèdsh electing to pay people to resettle in Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ.
Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad paverstone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ's somewhat suffishent are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.
A look around Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ gives you a feeling of distrust and paranoia. Also greed. The locals seem to be very much into scholastic pursuits, based on the hushed, murmured conversations you hear at least. Everyone in Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ acts like they have discovered something wondrous, and are worried they will endure some horrible fate so another can take what they’ve discovered for themselves.
Civic Infrastructure
Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ. Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ's natural decorations nor waterways.
Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.
In Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.
The Snake, Venomous near Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Summoning energies of tier 2 via oratory performances.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ was attacked by a renegade group of the army. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ lost 182 people, 166 livestock, and 34 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 183, when members of Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ's militia enacted an operation to destroy a particular enemy war supplies. The operation was complicated by the army being put into a position where they could only choose between two terrible options. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Wæm Vìpèb Dìǐ's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
